Classic shapes still have their modern appeal if given the right amount of new updates to cater to current trends plus some hints of classic car design and looks.
Looking quite similar to the Saab 900 that was produced from 1978 till 1998. This new Saab 9-3 is a compact executive car introduced in 1998 and produced by Swedish automaker Saab in Trollhattan, Sweden, however the cabriolet model is manufactured instead in Austria. It had over a thousand changes and improvements over the 900 to provide a new car with better handling characteristics. Although featuring a more modern and sleeker body shape, the centrally mounted ‘Snow Flap’, a trademark of Saab vehicles, was removed. Further improvements consisted of improved ride and handling of the car and substantially improved crashworthiness with side airbags with head protection and active headrests.
