It’s not everyday you get to see a ‘daily driver’ that looks like this…
Individuality is something very important if you want to stand out from the crowd, and this is especially the case if you are a public figure. Manabu Orido is one of the most recognized Japanese racing drivers of modern times, participating in everything from Super GT and Super Taikyu all the way to Nascar and the 24h of Le Mans. On top of his more conventional career he has never really given up his passion for drifting which has seen him compete and of course judge at both D1 and MSC. His talents even span to testing and presenting in video-magazines like Hot Version and Best Motoring, helping him obtain yet more fame and popularity. But it’s the more personal side of things we are interested in here, more specifically his latest car. When not driving around in GT racecars Orido-san has always had a thing for the Supra, owning a very highly tuned example dressed up with his own Ridox body it. But it was at the end of last year when he decided to go for a little change. The idea was to create a more modern and comfortable car for him to drive around in on a daily basis, as you can see here the result is something very special!
