Straight off Fuji Heavy Industries’ production line, the newly badged limited edition S-GT Japanese-spec. turbo Impreza is a pretty serious machine reflecting Subaru’s new aspirations for their volume-selling hatchback model. Using a super high-tech 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbocharged version of the famous EJ20 flat-four engine, the S-GT has been given further tuning by STi to produce even more powerful than its 224bhp 2.5-litre Impreza WRX Euro-spec sibling delivering nothing short of 250bhp!
