Porsche has been a household name for luxury sports cars since the 1930s, headquartered in Stuttgart Germany, this factory produces the popular Boxster roadsters and the hard top versions called the Cayman, as well as their most famous car model, the 911. Porsche’s first foray into the SUV market was with the introduction of the mid-sized luxury Cayenne which had a luxurious and spacious interior as well as the handling and performance of a sports car. The Porsche Company was founded by Professor Ferdinand Porsche and its humble beginnings never actually involved any car production, and one of the company’s first works was to design a car for the German people for the Volkswagen Company and the result of this work was the worldwide known “Volkswagen Beetle”. The Volkswagen influence was so strong that Porsche’s first production car, the Porsche 64, had many parts and components which were borrowed from the Beetle.
