With decks, mixers and some of the most awesome amplifiers and subs on cue, Faizal’s mobile DJ Getz is so ‘loud’ even the deaf can hear it. And you think we’re joking…
“What did you say?” I yelled at Faizal over the sub bass in his Getz. “Seriously,” he grins, “one of my friends is deaf – he’s got two hearing aids, and he loves this car. He’ll get me to crank it up and then looks over to me, grins, and winds it up a notch higher. Then he’ll start to ‘spin’ the deck.” That’s the kind of story that strangers will fool you with, but I got the impression Faizal’s serious because it gets even worse: “One of my friend hates the effect my car has on him. Every time I pump up the bass, his nose streams with blood from the bass pressure in the car.” And all this coming from a guy who admits; “I’ve never replaced an air filter before.”
