Having two brothers, and playing sports her whole life, she admits that she always seemed to get along better with males. But she definitely has a feminine side to her as well! Vanessa is tickled that she fell into the modelling business as it’s something that she never took seriously until now. |
     
HS: How do you react to men who approach you in bars and clubs; are you warm-hearted or do you give them a cold front?
VANESSA: I am usually cordial! My problem is that I am pretty sociable, and some interpret that in a “come hither” way. But I smile, talk a bit, get to know the person; and once that is all said and done, I get back to my friends that I came with. If the guy is rude, obnoxious, or just a plain jerk, I will give him a very obvious hint to back off. HS: How do you feel about your body, and what do you think are your best and worst features?
VANESSA: I have learned to grow into my body. I think my best features would be my butt and legs. I worked hard to get them into the shape they are in, so I am proud to show them off. My worst feature would be that I have big feet! It is hard to find shoes that fit me! I can be a little critical of myself, but at the end of the day, I am happy with what God has given me. HS: What would you do to build up a closer relationship with a guy you like?
VANESSA: I’ve done the aggressive approach enough times to have finally realized to just sit back and let him to the chasing. Although, usually there is a game of cat-and-mouse. I would suggest things to do or places to go to get to know him better, but you can’t force an attraction. I would probably feel the situation and vibes he is sending out, beforehand. If there seems to be enjoyment in each others’ company, I would want to spend more time getting to know him by doing something that involves being outdoors, like going to the beach.
